Join us on Sunday at 8:00 pm as we introduce Michael Lee Pope, author of "Ghosts of Alexandria", a collection of 10 true ghost stories in Alexandria, Virginia including The Legend of the Female Stranger, the Ghosts of Red Hill, and the haunting of The House of Cards. 

Taken from a biographical excerpt in Pope's book:

"Michael Lee Pope is an award-winning jouranlist who lives in Old Town Alexandria.  He has reported for the Alexandria Gazette Packet, WAMU 88.5 News, the New York Daily News and the Tallahassee Democrat.  He's also a ghost tour guide who has led tourists and school groups thorugh the streets of Old Town since Halloween 2004.  A native of Moultrie, Georgia, he grew up in Durham, North Carolina, and graduated high school in Tampa, Florida.  He has a master's degree in American Studies from Florida State University and lives in the Yates Gardens neighborhood with his lovely wife, Hope Nelson, and his cat, Lucky Abigail Nelson-Pope."
