Maine Ghost Hunters eyes Bigfoot

It’s mysterious.  It’s rarely witnessed.  It hasn’t been proven to exist yet.  Are we interested in it?  Of course we are!  And we couldn’t wait to take to the woods on a search for “the great beast” – Bigfoot itself.  In the summer of 2012 Maine Ghost Hunters invited members of our meetup to join us on a summertime adventure to remember; a Bigfoot Hunt in the White Mountains National Park.   Things went so well we decided to do it again, that same summer, only this time in the vast & remote wilderness of the North Maine Woods.  3.5 million acres and barely a person within it.  It was an unusually hot summer weekend and we worked the woods like pros.  We had 2 survival experts, woodsmen, and established bigfoot hunters, along with us to guide us and keep us on the right track.  We saw animals, the tracks they made, and scat they left behind – all great signs to determine the types of predator and prey that may be in the area.

The most exciting news of the weekend were the accounts by members of the expedition.  We had a stick thrown at us, heard a whistle, and had a really weird audio-encounter in the pitch dark of night when 2 groups were separated by a great distance – each left alone to “solo” under the stars for a lengthy period of time.   If you want to see for yourself, watch the ZeroLux Paranormal Bigfooting episode released in 2013.
