Dragon Magick

Dragon….. Even the name evokes a chill as these entities have been honored all over the world.

They are great beings of power and Magick.

This form of Magick is not for the faint of heart and anyone wishing to enter the realm of dragons must be both strong of heart and spirit. Dragons are very real creatures and come and go from the astral plane as they please. Dragons are curious creatures and are very wise and control great power. They are also very guarded and you must earn their trust and co-respect before they will manifest fully for you.

Elemental Dragons

All Dragons come from the base Elements of our world (Fire, Water, Air, Earth, and Spirit). These same ingredients are found in all beings and substances in life. When we breathe we interact with the element of Air. Our hearts pump blood, which is the element of Water. The bones we use to stand is the element of Earth. The heat in our bodies to keep us warm in the snow is the element of Fire. And the soul that helps us discover our world is the element of Spirit. Elements are a simple way to connect with all life and help us to understand the energy behind our Dragon allies. Each element reacts in its own unique way. As we begin to understand these abilities and connections we can better understand ourselves and how to interact with the world around us.

What is Dragon Magick?

Dragon Magick is simply the practice of Magick with the aid of Dragons. No matter what type of magick you practice, be it necromancy or healing  or blessings, you can ask a dragon for help. Keep in mind, however, that dragons are indeed alive. They have personalities, they have morals, and they value honor as well as compassion and positivity in general. If your goals are negative, are meant to harm others unjustifiably, or otherwise may be frowned upon by dragons they can and likely will say no. This means, no help for you.

What is Dragon Magick not?

Dragon Magick is not a form of cult nor religion. It is not anything bad, in fact it requires that which is often considered good. Dragon Magick does not require you be of a certain religion, hold certain beliefs, live a certain specific lifestyle, nor in any way dictates what you do. However, it does require a dragon’s approval for success since it requires a dragon help you, so certain things such as living honorably and, of course, believing in dragons would be required. Dragon Magick does not cost money, require specific tools, require any sacrifices, nor in any way dictates what you do in/with your life.

A Real Dragon has been found

Dracorex hogwartsia

This 66-million-year-old, first-of-its-kind, dragon-like dinosaur has been

named in honor of celebrated children’s book author J.K. Rowling.

Author J.K. Rowling recently wrote: “The naming of Dracorex hogwartsia is

easily the most unexpected honour to have come my way since the publication of

the Harry Potter books! I am absolutely thrilled to think that Hogwarts has

made a small (claw?) mark upon the fascinating world of dinosaurs.”

The name Dracorex hogwartsia, from the Latin words draco (meaning dragon), rex

(meaning king), and hogwartsia (after the fictional Hogwarts School for

Witchcraft and Wizardry created by J.K. Rowling).

The nearly complete skull was discovered by three friends; Steve Saulsbury,

Patrick Saulsbury and Brian Buckmeier, all from Sioux City, Iowa.  They found

it during a fossil collecting trip in South Dakota and donated it to The

Children’s Museum of Indianapolis. When it was brought to the museum’s Paleo

Prep Lab for cleaning and studying, it was little more than a box of parts. It

took two years to patiently glue together the many fragments and restore the

This fossil helps us understand how discoveries of extinct animal fossils may

have inspired people throughout history to believe that dragons once lived.

Legends about dragons are common around the world.
