About Our Field Investigators

Maine Ghost Hunters Field Investigator positions have proven to be the most demanding, time consuming, challenging, and rewarding of our public-image positions.  Each of the investigators on this page has offered more of themselves than they probably anticipated prior to joining our team, and we wanted to take this time to recognize that fact.

Inherent with the privilege of holding the title "MGH Field Investigator" comes the direct out-of-pocket costs associated with travel, equipment, and lost wages.  Our investigators and their families sacrifice family-time and weekend relaxation time to help clients in desperate need of our help, and they do so with eagerness and genuine desire.  The evidence review period, which takes place during each investigator's personal time lasts 2 to 4 times longer than its corresponding investigation period, and almost always requires near-silent conditions.  These circumstances, alone, require evidence review to take place away from people, or during late hours at night, or early (pre-work & pre-school) hours in the morning.  Each member on this page also has a direct and influential role in the day-to-day and issue-to-issue decisions made in the best interests of the Maine Ghost Hunters organization, so it would make sense to say that all are also involved in many other areas intricate to Maine Ghost Hunters aside from field investigations, such as website improvements, forum moderation, community outreach and education, and more.  These team members can be quite busy at times, and can hardly be considered one-dimensional in terms of their impact on the overall inner workings of what MGH ultimately shows to the public.

The people on this page have dedicated themselves in a way that seems almost thankless, and we wanted to make sure they know how special they are and how proud we are to call them our peers and our teammates.

About Tony

Hello, I'm Tony L. and I'm a co-founder of the Maine Ghost Hunters team.  I've had paranormal experiences as far back as I can remember, and consider myself somewhat of a mild "sensitive".  I'm a hard core "numbers" guy so I find it's not that hard to keep my ability on the back burner, secondary to the scientific process of our data collection.  I believe in the ability and contributions of the psychic investigator but as a secondary approach to obtaining evidence through a more scientific method.  It's my opinion that the more concrete evidence we collect (hard numbers and physical evidence) the more widely accepted and respected our evidence will be perceived by  the standards of skeptics and peer investigative groups, alike.   As for what I do when I'm not hunting ghosts;  I'm a Software Design Engineer with 15 years experience in the technology industry, currently responsible for Worldwide IT operations for a company that sits at the head of its class.  I've been designing software applications and systems since 1996 and have led development teams for companies such as Microsoft, Unum-Provident, and several start-up organizations.  I have a passion for "the process" and rarely take my roles, responsibilities, or directives, lightly.  I bring this focus and structure to the heart of the Maine Ghost Hunters group in order to best serve each of our clients to the best of our collective ability.

About Kat M.

Hi, I'm Kat and I'm one of the Co-Founders and team leads of Maine Ghost Hunters.  I'm also a lead investigator, videographer, photographer, meetup organizer, public speaker, and team website designer.  I have a degree in Geology from the University of Maine at Farmington, and I've worked in the Gulf of Mexico on a couple of research vessels as a Field Geophysicist and a Geophysical Analyst.  I've lived in quite a few haunted environments and have read too many non-fiction paranormal titles to count.  I have a strong respect for MGH scientific protocol and the evidence recovery process our team abides by.  I also have a keen interest in the spiritual side of what we're sometimes thrown into as a result of our investigations.  My areas of expertise for the Maine Ghost Hunters organization come in the form of EVP and Audio review, and Videography - among many others.   I'm the person who's usually behind the camera, rather than in front of it.  I edit the video and make it available for public viewing, presenting key portions of investigations or events we have taken part in.   I'm also the team lead when it comes to the day to day operations regarding the Maine Ghost Hunters organizations.

You can find me on FaceBook under my user account Kat Maineghosthunters, and I do a lot of status updates for our Maine Ghosthunters account as well.  You can also find me tweeting pretty regularly with our MEghosthunters account on Twitter - although I am not the only one who does so.

About David

This is David.  He's the "sensitive" side of the Maine Ghost Hunters' group.  David has many years experience in studying the spiritual aspects of health and healing, as well as those fields of study pertaining to spirit activity in the physical world.  David has extensive experience with "cleansing" houses, and other environments, of unwanted spirits.  He's a highly spiritual guy and we're proud to call him a member of Maine Ghost Hunters team.  Here's a little quip from David, himself.

Greetings,  My name is David and I am the spiritual advisor to the group. I have been studying different religions for most of my adult life. I find it fascinating and very informative to experience the beliefs of the many people that inhabit the earth. I have had paranormal experiences for as long as I can remember. My father and my grandmother both exhibited very strong abilities that were nothing short of amazing as we grew up. My grandmother, who passed on 10 years ago, is still a strong influence in my life and I feel her spirit is guiding me and watching over as we conduct investigations. I am a Reiki master/teacher and have a studio in my home. I offer energy sessions that include the use of Usui reiki practice as well as other modalities. Quartz crystal singing bowls and Solfeggio tuning forks are just some of the tools that I use. I have studied with some amazing mediums and healers and I hope to bring my talents to the clients that seek us out.

Namaste’

About Casey

Patrick Casey Dunham II is a member of the Maine Ghost Hunters investigation team. He is a Computer Science graduate of the University of Southern Maine, and he also holds a Minor in Mathematics. Casey's spiritual interests run deep, but his passion for possessing the "truth" and "reason" for all things unexplained, is what drives him to continue seeking answers and explanations. Casey is rarely pleased with the superficial "easy answer". His natural instincts and style strengthen the investigation team's scientific approach, bringing logic and reason to situations that may have initially caused fear and confusion due to lack of understanding.

Since becoming a member of the Maine Ghost Hunters organization, Casey has exhibited skill and ability regarding our scientific approach, and with this, he has also proven his dedication to our team's investigative processes.  It is this dedication to the Maine Ghost Hunters' scientific approach that makes Casey an effective investigator, and a strength to our core investigative team.

About Windy

Windy Keith grew up in Carmel, Maine but spent her summers and holidays with family on a Canadian Island in New Brunswick. In high school, Windy was an honors Biology student. She went on to study Biology at colleges in Long Island, N.Y. and Southern California. Windy feels the scientific approach to studying the paranormal is something that suits her quite naturally. Windy's roles for Maine Ghost Hunters are numerous, among them are: photographer, investigator, meetup coordinator, blogger, radio show hostess, and public speaker.

Windy's assets to the Maine Ghost Hunters organization are numerous and noticeable.  These photos are a typical representation of how you might find Windy at any given moment during an investigation -  with a camera in her hand and ready to snap a photo at a moment's notice.  Windy's people skills are top-notch, and her desire to learn all there is to know about paranormal, and the processes it takes to get down to the nitty gritty of what's really going on in any given situation is just one of the more valuable qualities Windy brings to the investigative core.
